As signups are just under a week away, we want to make sure that those who will not be around during signups still have a chance to register for DOINK! 2011, and that everyone else knows what to expect! We have an important change in signup procedure to alert you to, as well as instructions for signing up by proxy.

We know that some of you have already made proxy arrangements, and we want to assure you that this should not impact those arrangements — none of the options or function of the form have changed. Signup Form Preview and Supported Fandoms

While we'll go over some of the essentials of signups again in the post opening signups week, we're previewing the process now so that you have time to arrange proxies — or just get your answers ready ahead of time!

The biggest change in signup procedure this year is the passcode: we'll be asking for your AO3 username and email address, same as last year, but will also require a passcode. This can be any short phrase or code, and we need it for a little extra security if you have to edit your signup after submission. Other than that, it's all pretty much the same as last year!
