2014 Final Fantasy Kiss Battle
RULES
- All prompts will be organized by fandom, using Master Links. When leaving prompts, please put it under the right canon! If in a compilation canon, please include the important details!
- To leave a prompt: leave one prompt per comment, with FANDOM: CHARACTERS/RELATIONSHIP in the subject line and your prompt in the body.
- To leave a fill: reply to the comment in question. Please use the subject line of your comment to label your work: TITLE (if relevant), FANDOM, CHARACTERS/RELATIONSHIP, RATING (ANY KINKS, WARNINGS, FLAGS).
- There should be kissing! All kinds of kisses are welcome: gen, shippy, smutty, chaste, familial, friendly, angry, happy! We’re pretty open to anything you want to call kissing. We are fans of all of it.
- Fanart, fanfiction, drabbles, doodles, live action movies -- whatever you want to supply, we’d like to have it.
- Be kind to others regarding character or ship choices and prompts. This should be fun for everyone!
- Prompt early, prompt often, and leave as many as you want.
- Prompts can be filled multiple times!
- To leave a blitzkrieg kiss: If you have something but no one has prompted it yet, blitzkiss away! Just reply to the comment for your fandom, and make sure you use the subject line to label your work.

FINAL FANTASY KISS BATTLE 2014
We will be running the Kissing Battle on Dreamwidth only. There are two main reasons for this: 1) Dreamwidth’s comment limit is huge, allowing for longer kissing masterpieces; and 2) Dreamwidth still supports subject lines for comments, which are vital to a meme like the Kiss Battle. However, the Battle is open to everyone. Feel free to participate with your Dreamwidth (account creation is invite-free right now~!), your Livejournal or other OpenID account (see here if you want to set up an OpenID), or anonymously.

And in the meantime, have a snippet of headcanon about Ashe and Vayne, which I only just realized today, thanks to this comment of yours: ... and I went, "Oh, that explains why Vayne keeps flirting at her (in later parts)"--- because he is a victim of his environmentally conditioned responses: he is so, so used to people smiling in his face while whetting the knives for his back that when she, literally, spits in his face at the first sight of him while going for her sword, he is just so used to people who don't show their actual feelings that somewhere at an unconscious level he assumes she's, ah, more kindly disposed to him than she's acting, because of course she wouldn't be so blatantly hostile if she expected to do anything about it, right? I ma GRINNING FOREVER AT THIS. And OH GOD YES THEY NEED TO MAKE OUT. THEY NEED TO HAVE ALL THE MAKEOUTS AND SADLY THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HAPPENING FOR A WHILE. OH, BBs. (BTW, I am so embarrassed that it took me so long to figure out why the HELL Vayne was flirting at her--- I mean, this is Vayne "Hi Migelo I'ma get you drunk till you call me by name" Solidor, there is CANON PRECEDENT for him being all ~approachable~ and shit when he thinks it's useful, but he goes out of his WAY at her later in this story, like, "I will be as much a husband to you as you will permit" out of his WAY. WTf, dude, arranged marriage and let's not forget YOU HAD HER FATHER KILLED. And then WHAM... "oh that's why, you are just that unused to people showing what they actually feel at you. *facepalm*"

Okay, admittedly I am getting all of FFXII canon through the lens of my Vayne-muse most of the time now, which is why I now love Ashe, but OH MY GOD LARSA.
