2014 Final Fantasy Kiss Battle
RULES
- All prompts will be organized by fandom, using Master Links. When leaving prompts, please put it under the right canon! If in a compilation canon, please include the important details!
- To leave a prompt: leave one prompt per comment, with FANDOM: CHARACTERS/RELATIONSHIP in the subject line and your prompt in the body.
- To leave a fill: reply to the comment in question. Please use the subject line of your comment to label your work: TITLE (if relevant), FANDOM, CHARACTERS/RELATIONSHIP, RATING (ANY KINKS, WARNINGS, FLAGS).
- There should be kissing! All kinds of kisses are welcome: gen, shippy, smutty, chaste, familial, friendly, angry, happy! We’re pretty open to anything you want to call kissing. We are fans of all of it.
- Fanart, fanfiction, drabbles, doodles, live action movies -- whatever you want to supply, we’d like to have it.
- Be kind to others regarding character or ship choices and prompts. This should be fun for everyone!
- Prompt early, prompt often, and leave as many as you want.
- Prompts can be filled multiple times!
- To leave a blitzkrieg kiss: If you have something but no one has prompted it yet, blitzkiss away! Just reply to the comment for your fandom, and make sure you use the subject line to label your work.

FINAL FANTASY KISS BATTLE 2014
We will be running the Kissing Battle on Dreamwidth only. There are two main reasons for this: 1) Dreamwidth’s comment limit is huge, allowing for longer kissing masterpieces; and 2) Dreamwidth still supports subject lines for comments, which are vital to a meme like the Kiss Battle. However, the Battle is open to everyone. Feel free to participate with your Dreamwidth (account creation is invite-free right now~!), your Livejournal or other OpenID account (see here if you want to set up an OpenID), or anonymously.

"What, and you think the rest of us aren't?" Lightning snaps. "For fuck's sake, you're a father, and you're whining like you're the baby!"
The reminder of Dajh strikes him to the quick, and he almost snaps at her--- then he does a double-take.
She's a kid herself, dammit, for all she's a sergeant. A kid herself who's had to be a parent for far too long.
On impulse, he goes over to her. "Good thing we've got you for a mom, then, huh, kiddo?" he says, and she starts to recoil and to snap back at his contradictory bit of reassurance--- then falls oddly silent as he drops a kiss onto her brow.
She doesn't protest when he sits beside her and puts his arm around her, and after a moment, she even lets herself lean in.
(A/N: Annnnnnnd, oh god, you've given me an idea for a crossover prompt! Whee!)
FFXIII: Lightning/Snow/Serah
"Three's (Not) A Crowd":FFXIII: Lightning/Snow/Serah, PG-13
They don't notice her for a moment, too busy kissing, which is almost but not quite a moment long enough for her to slip out. Then they look up.
Serah blushes violently, but Snow just grins and holds up the covers. "There's room," he drawls.
She wants to snap at him, but then she gets a look at what's under the sheet. And specifically just why her sister thinks bedding this idiot is a good idea.
Okay, marrying him is still possibly not the best idea ever. But at least she can see why Serah's usually excellent common sense took a sick day.
Serah--- her sister has gotten over her blushes and is watching with a strange look of expectancy, even--- is that hope on her face?
"You okay with this?" she asks Serah, just to be sure of what she's seeing.
Her sister's nod--- emphatic and tremulous all at once--- is what decides her.
She comes to join them on the bed. Even as her lips meet Snow's, Serah's hand slides into her hair to hold her there, and if that's what Serah needs, well, taking care of her sister has always been Lightning's job.
"Worth any Price":FFXIII: Lightning/Snow/Serah, G
After Cocoon falls, Lightning supposes she can't really object to Snow and Serah, not after everything--- it's like being in a unit with a guy: you might not like him, but you learn to trust him at your back.
So when she comes into the kitchen of the tiny makeshift house she's sharing with her sister to hear Serah and Snow talking about the impossibility of living together right now, she heaves an inward sigh and reminds herself that he wasn't too impossibly annoying a traveling companion. "There's room," she says, and it's worth it when Serah jumps up and runs to hug her neck and press a kiss to her cheek, worth it to see the smile on Serah's face.
The smile that sometimes she never thought she'd see again, and that alone is worth any price.
