September's Bonus Theme
This month is Collaboration Month. This is a bit complicated, so hang with us while we explain.

This month, we'll be giving bonus points for collaborative work - any work completed with another fun fandom person. This includes collaborative fanfiction, collaborative fanart, illustrated fanart, fanfiction about a piece of artwork, a series of exchanged drabbles or sketches ... honestly, the sky is the limit. This is a twisted combination of "non-written media month" and "friending meme" -- we're pretty easygoing, so there really aren't too many "rules" you'll have to follow to qualify for this month's bonus points.

How does it work?

If you're interested in collaborative work, leave a comment on this post.. List what fandoms, characters, pairings you're super excited about; list what media you create and what kind of media/creators you'd like to collaborate with.

Then:

• Scan through the existing comments and see if there's anyone you're interested in collaborating with; if there are any prompts or ideas that catch your eye, leave that person a reply comment and get in touch with them to work something out.


• Wait and see who replies to your bait. Once someone does, figure out responsibilities and go to town!

We really aren't being strict here; if you have any questions, you can leave them on this post as well.

How will the scoring go?

• Any work that fits the theme of Collaboration will receive 10 points - 5 points for being submitted to the Chocobo Races, + an extra 5 points to each participant for collaborative work. Lots of point possibilities here, friends!
• Any work that doesn't fit the September theme, but is submitted in September, will still receive 5 points.
• Remember that you have to be signed up for a team before you post your work in order to get points!

What if there isn't anything in the Chocobo Down Database that I want to create for? What if I want to ask for something else?
We'll open an entry for new prompts in about one week. This way everybody can look through our official unfilled prompt list first and get started there, before we generate new prompts.

Some reminders for this round:

• Please include the prompt you are filling somewhere when you post your work!
• Since the mods can't guarantee we have the time to look at every work ourselves, please make sure you label your work appropriately, so that we know who gets bonus points and who doesn't!

Hey, I am totally up for this! I'm a writer who would be interested in working with someone in any other medium. My main fandoms are FFX/X-2 and FFXII. I'm pretty flexible with pairings and characters, but my very favorites include:

FFX/X-2: Auron, Lulu, Yuna, Paine, Nooj, and Baralai; Paine/Nooj and Baralai/Yuna
FFXII: Ashe, Balthier, Basch, Penelo, Al-Cid; Ashe/Balthier, Ashe/Al-Cid, Ashe/Basch, Penelo/Vaan, and Larsa/Penelo.

Sure, why not? I haven't done too many collaborative works, but I'm always up for a new challenge.

My big two fandoms are:
FF VIII: I love the whole SeeD crew and pretty much any pairing of two (or more!) of the main six.

FF X-2: Again, I like the whole cast; I'm into the X-2 era more than X-1. Favorite pairings are Yuna/Tidus, but I can go for Yuna with pretty much anyone (Yuna/Paine, Yuna/Rikku, Yuna/Baralai, Yuna/Lulu, Yuna/Gippal...) as well as Rikku/Lulu or Rikku/Paine. Also fond of Yuna/Tidus/Rikku or Yuna/Rikku/Paine.

I'm up for a shot at IV, VII, or IX as well.

I mostly write, but I can occasionally do bad art too :P

I haven't done a collaboration before, so this should be fun.

My randoms are X, XII, and XIII-verse. I can ship anyone as long as the prompt/premise is intriguing. Here are some that have recently crossed my mind.

X: Seymour/Yuna, Yuna/Rikku, Auron/Rikku
XII: Balthier/Ashe, Vossler/Ashe, Basch/Gabranth, Fran/Ashe, Ondore/Ashe, pretty much Ashe/Anyone or Balthier/Anyone
XIII: Fang/Lightning, Fang/Vanille, Cid Raines/Yaag Rosch, Caius/Yeul, Noel/Yeul, Lightning/Serah, Everyone/Eidolons

Medium: Fic or Art. For artwork, I prefer traditional media (e.g. oils, pencils, ballpoint pen) but I can also do Photoshop. That being said, I just lost PS and don't know when I'll get it back...(hopefully soon).
