I'd really love to see what Adelle gets up to after the end of the game. How long does she stay with Clan Gully? Does she travel? If you can make it work, I would love to see her outside Jylland -- say, in Archades or Balfonheim -- interacting with some FFXII-specific characters.

I've only rarely seen works including Krile, so it would be cool to see her have a central role in something. Maybe have her coping with her grandfather's death, or show some interaction with the other party members from her perspective. If you decide to go post-game, I would love to see her coming into her own as a Queen, perhaps dealing with the official/ceremonial recognition of her grandfather's death.

Balthier, as Ffamran, trying to get out of the capital to be a sky pirate for good, needs more help escaping Archades than he expects and finds help in a source with a unique concept of "payment"

This ended up being more Ashe/Al-Cid with heavy implications of Ashe/Balthier. I hope this is acceptable. ;)

Shadow and Relm's mom: anything detailing their relationship leading up to the birth of Relm. Was it meaningless sex or was there a deeper connection? What happened to her? It's likely that Relm's mom was descended from the Mage Knights, so ninja and mage couple going on adventures would be awesome!

I have had this prompt in mind ever since you made it back in July - and I've TRIED writing fic and nothing has been coming out how I wanted it to, so... I finally just drew a picture depicting how I think she'd have looked ^^. I also rambled a bit about headcanons re: her relationship with Clyde, and her magic in general. So, I'm sorry it's not an exciting story just yet, and maybe because it's been stewing in my head for over 6 months now it's deviated from your original prompt, but it's... something! :P

Rikku's sometimes stereotyped as the "dumb" one because of her excited personality, but I never thought that was too fair to her; I don't remember seeing her that way in the game at all. She grew up as a member of the Al Bhed, so she has to be smart to survive and knows all about machina. In X-2, she's often telling Yuna about things.

So, I'd just like to see Rikku bein' smart and using her STEM skills. Maybe she's building or researching or something her own, or maybe she's explaining things to be someone else. Pairings, if any, are up to you.

So I find Tifa/Aeris interactions in the game incredibly intimate? And I would actually like to see something starting off from them having an honest conversation about Cloud? Tifa has obvious concerns about Cloud's memory and Nibelheim; Aeris has her own concerns about her fate and Cloud and Zack. Even conversation is okay but makeouts are A++++

Okay so. In the Whirlwind Maze we see all these clones shuffling, falling, dying in their efforts to reach Sephiroth and the Reunion. We also see them huddling in every town like addicts in withdrawal, especially Nibelheim. What is it like to be one of those clones? Do they even realize they're watching their brethren die? Do they feel? We know Cloud's an anomaly (when possessed he doesn't become Sephiroth, just obeys, unlike the others.) Do the others have any memories at all?

Go nuts with the creepy.

BACKSTORY TIME! I wanna see/read about Strago & Gungho's youthful wacky adventures. Character building on Strago's past would be really fun - was he always a comedian? Was he a troublemaker like Relm? Why is Hidon in particular such a focus for him and Gungho? Lore meta = A++

Basically I'm replaying FFVI right now and just went through Ebot's Rock, and I now want something that makes that part of the game less annoying (FUCKING CORAL-EATING TREASURE CHEST WTF).

BONUS: who or what the hell is Ebot??

I just really want an AU where Cecil is kidnapped and imprisoned in the Tower of Zot instead of Rosa.

Class-swaps are cool and awesome but not necessary. Mostly I just want to see Rosa trying to step up and be a leader in Cecil's absence and Cecil's travails as a helpless prisoner. Lunarian angst, delving into Golbez's motivations for the kidnapping, Cecil + Fiend interaction, and Rosa's role in the parts of the game she missed out on in canon would be awesome as well (especially if she has to deal with washing up in Mysidia alone and seeing first-hand the things that Cecil did as a Dark Knight).
