August Chocobo Races: Rare Character / Relationship Prompt Post!

August is Rare Character / Rare Relationship Month, and we have a lot of interesting prompts in our Chocobo Down Database -- but we know that with rare characters and rare ships, well, they're rare. There's no guarantee that there's a prompt in the database for that overlooked character or pairing you love! Because of that, we'd like to invite all of our Chocobo Racers to leave prompts for rare chars/pairs/ships here, in the comments of this post. Anyone can browse, and anyone can fill!

To leave a prompt:

• Please put the canon and character or ship in the subject of the comment. FFVI: Edgar/Setzer, or FFVII (OGC): Scarlet, or FFVIII: Laguna/Kiros/Ward are examples.


• Leave the details of your prompt in the comment. "Anything goes" usually isn't as helpful as you'd think - even if it's true! - so please try to add some optional details or ideas for people who might want a pointer.


• You can leave as many prompts as you wish, although we would ask you to stick to 5 prompts to keep things manageable. If you manage to fill someone's rare character/ship wish, however, feel free to come leave as many prompts as you want!

I'd love ANYTHING, but hey, some ideas:

- exploring her backstory, not just in terms of her relationship with Locke (although I would love to see a younger suave-and-failing Locke because who wouldn't), but fleshing her out as a person on her own too, the way she fits into Kohligen, her hopes and dreams for the future

- an AU in which Phoenix does bring her back to life; what does Locke do, and how does this affect the party?

- anything creepy, dark, paranormal, meta, whatever, about the period Rachel spent in stasis: is she alive? dead? sleeping? dreaming? what does she see when the world is destroyed? how does she feel about Locke's actions?
