Yes, it's happening! Right here and right now! :D

We are still considering our availability and options for running a full exchange sometime this year, and we'll keep you posted on any future developments. In the meantime, we wanted to bring back the Kiss Battle: it's a tradition, and really fun!

Since we aren't doing the Chocobo Races this year, there are no teams and no points. However, we will give a shout-out to the top five contributors, with special recognition to the person who creates kisses for the most canons. :)

RULES

• All prompts will be organized by fandom, using Master Links. When leaving prompts, please put it under the right canon! If in a compilation canon, please include the important details!


• To leave a prompt: leave one prompt per comment, with FANDOM: CHARACTERS/RELATIONSHIP in the subject line and your prompt in the body.


• To leave a fill: reply to the comment in question. Please use the subject line of your comment to label your work: TITLE (if relevant), FANDOM, CHARACTERS/RELATIONSHIP, RATING (ANY KINKS, WARNINGS, FLAGS).


• There should be kissing! All kinds of kisses are welcome: gen, shippy, smutty, chaste, familial, friendly, angry, happy! We’re pretty open to anything you want to call kissing. We are fans of all of it.


• Fanart, fanfiction, drabbles, doodles, live action movies -- whatever you want to supply, we’d like to have it.


• Be kind to others regarding character or ship choices and prompts. This should be fun for everyone!


• Prompt early, prompt often, and leave as many as you want.


• Prompts can be filled multiple times!


• To leave a blitzkrieg kiss: If you have something but no one has prompted it yet, blitzkiss away! Just reply to the comment for your fandom, and make sure you use the subject line to label your work.

We will be running the Kiss Battle on Dreamwidth only. There are two main reasons for this: 1) Dreamwidth’s comment limit is huge, allowing for longer kissing masterpieces; and 2) Dreamwidth still supports subject lines for comments, which are vital to a meme like the Kiss Battle. However, the Battle is open to everyone. Feel free to participate with your Dreamwidth (account creation is invite-free right now~!), your Livejournal or other OpenID account (see here if you want to set up an OpenID), or anonymously.

Their magic has always been in sync. Xande's is sharped: the gift of humans, of humanity, of death and the end; but theirs is the long singing flow of the Magus legacy: nothing new, like what Xande now carries, but for them new notes sung atop an old harmony.

Unei - young, fierce, with active hands that never stop moving - pulls him into the dreamworld one day; she pulls him and his magic, in a way he has never felt during his own sleep. Noah has warned them against playing, against meddling, but: this is so innocent, and fun - fireworks in one younger student's dream, a hand in a bucket of ice water for another, and Unei builds a maze of dream-within-a-dream for Xande, laughing, while Doga traces lightning-runes across mantles and doorjambs to spark at any disturbance. They can frolic here, and when Unei pulls them out with those agile hands back into the real world, they are laughing, circling each other with magic flowing back-and-forth across their palms.

The call of it is sweet, and Doga cannot feel bad for feeding the languid pull of her magic with fire; cannot feel bad at all, although Noah lectures for isolation and patience, when Unei cackles and reaches across and kisses his temple, his cheek, his mouth: smiling, as he traces her brows with wind.
