Modly Mognet

Time is passing, and that innocent-looking tonberry is creeping closer...! Please remember that the upload deadline for regular exchange signups is Saturday, May 7th, 2011, 23:00 UTC.

Hopefully all participants are having amazingly good luck with their prompts. If, however, you're a little bit stuck - you wish you had a little more information from your recipient - you can always use the Modly Mognet.

Here at DOINK!, we like to offer our services as intermediaries between creators and their recipients. If you want to know more about a prompt (or all your prompts!) in order to get a better idea of what your recipient wants, we will be happy to write to them if you ask us, and send their response back to you! Please go through us!

Don't worry about the surprise being ruined if you ask questions about a specific prompt -- we will disguise your question among others that we make up for the occasion, one for each prompt. We will pass on the answers to the question(s) you yourself asked.

To make this easier on us, the following things help:

  • including your recipient's name and the prompt/prompts you're asking about

  • if you know the other fandoms, feel free to make up questions about the other prompts, or ask about multiple prompts at once -- this means we have fewer questions to make up. We'll pass on all answers to questions you submitted

Doing these things helps us get the question out faster, which means you get a response sooner! Sometimes you know more about the fandom and characters and can more successfully disguise the questions than we can, although we will do our best if you're not sure how! :)

If you would like to take advantage of this service, just e-mail us!

Likewise, if you get a mognet query in your inbox, please respond in a timely manner — someone's waiting on your reply to make your gift even better!

Good luck, everyone, and keep your eyes on that tonberry...
