Announcement: Status of DOINK! 2015
Hello, DOINK! fans and followers!
In 2015, there will be no formal round of DOINK!
After discussing our schedules, other obligations and current state of preparedness, the moderator team has decided to take 2015 off to improve our infrastructure. We're aiming to improve our sign up code, work on our matching macro to keep our focus on providing everyone good prompts they'll be excited to create for, and create some new tools to help us run things on the back end that will make the exchange experience smoother and faster for everyone.
However, later in the year we may launch some informal prompting/writing events of some kind, similar to our Kiss Battle. Nothing's been decided yet, but as soon as we know we'll announce events here and on our Tumblr. If you have particular types of prompt events you like, do let us know!
If you're looking for an exchange to dive into this year,press_start_comm is a video game exchange and they open nominations on June 20th. :D If there are other active Final Fantasy or video game writing challenges happening this year, feel free to drop the links in the comments, as well. :)
