The current themes are Minor Characters & Songfics, but if you can't find the perfect prompt in our existing Chocobo Down database or in past rounds of the Chocobo Races, here is a post where you can leave new prompts and look for ideas.

Please leave your prompts for Minor Characters & Songfics here; anyone can prompt, anyone can fill, but if you want to earn points, remember to sign up for a team first!

FFIII: Magus Noah & his disciples

I'd love to read pre-canon fic about Noah and his disciples (Doga, Unei & Xande). Take it anywhere you'd like! Some ideas:

- How did Noah come to be so powerful, and what were some of the great things he did?
- A day in the life of the younger disciples learning from their master.
- Tell me about the moment Noah bestowed upon his disciples their gifts (mortality to Xande, knowledge & magic to Doga, power over the dream world to Unei) - their reactions, what they felt, what they did with them. What was the purpose of Xande's gift in particular, since he clearly wasn't pleased with it? (As well - why were these three immortal to begin with?) What exactly does Unei do with her gift besides sleep?? (That could be a fic unto itself!)

Alternately - is this trend of great Magi and Masters a thing of the past, or is it possible for someone new to take the reins? After all, one of the job classes of the Light Warriors is Sage, the upgraded Red Mage/jack-of-all-trades - could one of our four heroes decide to follow the footsteps of Noah after having defeated the Cloud of Darkness? Do they continue to contact Doga & Unei for advice somehow?

RIDDLE ME THIS:

According to Cid, he brought the four future Light Warriors from the Surface World to the Floating Continent 10 years before the game canon. However, according to Unei, time had been frozen on the Surface World for 1,000 years! Whaaaat the heckkkkk. So we find Aria as one of two remaining conscious people left on the Surface World - she must have an idea of what actually happened, right? Maybe?? Was she ever in contact with Unei through her dreams? What's the truth behind Cid & the Light Warriors' origins?
