January Prompt Post - Small Fandom Month

January's bonus theme is Small Fandoms - if you can't find a prompt that fits what you want to do, or you have specific ideas for a certain unique media you haven't been able to ask for before, you can leave those prompts here!

So... Astos, Dark Elf Sorcerer and/or Illusionist. Evil bastard. Brought down a kingdom once.

Could it be that he once did heroic deeds? Or at least, did a kind thing once? Rescued a kitten from a tree?

So yeah: let's have Astos do a good deed. He doesn't have to be nice about it, and no doubt he's only doing it for personal gain, but kittens and rainbows!

FFI + Dissidia/DDFF: exploring how the canons interact/how much FFI influenced or is reflected in Dissidia/DDFF. E.g. Sarah and Garland as avatars of Cosmos and Chaos, or anything else about the similarities between the canons you want to explore.

FFVII: I feel a little disingenuous posting anything about FFVII and especially Sephiroth in a small fandoms/rarepairs thread... but, well, Sephiroth/Tifa is in fact pretty rare, and the way I ship it is... not something I have ever found in the wild, tbh, so I'm giving it a go. I want Seph attaching to Tifa instead of Jenova (kind of the way he seems to latch onto Zack in Crisis Core); I want Tifa pointing the kind of subtle wrangling that she did with Cloud and to a lesser extent Barret at Sephiroth. Basically I want these two overprotective badasses looking out for each other! Bonus points if Tifa is HBIC (I imagine after a lifetime of Shinra Seph's used to other people pointing him at things, and Tifa would be kinder about it). (I asked for this over in [community profile] fandom_stocking, it didn't happen, so I'm giving into the grabbyhands urges here.)

Untold tales of the Wild Rose Rebellion. It is doubtful that they merely waited passively in Altair for the Empire to come and get them. While the heroes of the game went about their work, what did Hilda and the others do to further the cause? Did they merely buy time, or did they engage in little-known missions into the wild to fight the Empire in secret?

FFIV or The After Years: Palom & Porom, or Palom/Porom

It doesn't matter to me whether you like the After Years canon or if you want to explore some other "post-FFIV" world of your own!

What I'd really like to see is Palom and Porom growing up, and the way their shared magic grows as they do. I love the twincest pairing, so if you are interested in that, I'd like definite hints of something naughty -- but it isn't necessary at all; if you aren't into that, just seeing how their abilities grow as they do would be awesome.

AKA the nameless dancer in Cornelia who offers hints. I want to know how she knows. Psychic powers? Extensive surveillance network? Is she secretly stalking the Light Warriors and keeping better track of information than they are? Is she some kind of supernatural being trying to make sure these knuckleheads actually manage to save the world? Let your imagination run wild and free!

I'd really love to see Ceodore grappling with life after the game. So much has changed for him -- he's lost friends, gained allies, and seen some really crazy things, including a terrifying side of his own father. Seeing him cope and figure out his place in post-TAY Baron would be amazing. Bonus points for awkwardness with Kain?

FF Tactics -- Class Meta

The classes in FFT are my favorite set and I'd really like to see something about their role in the world and just generally what it's like being them. Preferred classes for this would be one of the unusual casters (Oracle, Time Mage, Calculator, or Mediator) but any of them would be fun. Original characters is probably the obvious way to go for this but it might also be interesting to see a canon character trying to take on a new mantle.

I'm super chagrined that there isn't any porn of this already because it would be amazing.

I'd love anything from a sweet romance between Damcyan's perpetual bachelor king and Baron's royal couple, to PWP decadent fun with friends, to...IDK, a crazed AU where Dark Knight Cecil and Evil Queen Rosa keep Edward as a pet.

FFI - Monk

The monk's HP maxes out earlier than other classes' do, which I figure means the monk is rolling in spare points while everyone else is leveling up. Which means the monk probably ought to take up a hobby to spend them.

Maybe the monk masters macrame at level 50, then ballroom dancing at level 60. Maybe at level 99, the monk can bake a cheesecake so perfect that enemies surrender for a taste of it. IDK. I just want an over-leveled monk taking up increasingly ridiculous hobbies.
