[Doink! 2010] Checking in!

Doink! Final Fantasy Exchange banner

Doink! Final Fantasy Exchange
Reminder Post #1

We hope you're all having a good time with your assignments so far! Right now there are really only a few major things for you to keep in mind as you work, so this will only take a second:

  • Throughout the exchange we'll be communicating between gifters and receipients if a gifter has a question about their prompts. If you receive one of these e-mails, please reply as soon as you can.

  • Remember, pinch hitter signups are still open, here! Pinch hitters really help us out, and we can't praise them enough. If your prompts look so awesome that you'll be done early, and you think you'd be available, think about signing up! If you need an AO3 account, just e-mail us at ff.exchange@gmail.com.

  • We're still collecting beta volunteers for the DOINK! Beta Summon Team! If you're interested in offering your services, please check it out.

  • In a few days, we'll be posting information on how to summon a DOINK! Beta if you need one.

  • We'll also be posting a walkthrough on how to submit your work to AO3, for those lucky talented souls who finish early! Keep your eyes on either community, or email the mods if you have questions.

  • If you're having any kind of trouble with your prompts or your gift, please let the mods know as soon as possible — the more time we have to work with you, and your situation, the better off everyone will be. :)

One more thing — we know that sometimes people like to write "Dear Gifter" letters in their journals, to give their gifters some additional reassurance, ideas, or clarification that might not have been included in their prompts. If you've written a Dear Gifter letter and you'd like to make sure your gifter sees it, please leave a link to it here — this can be a central location for gifters to (secretly!) check in on their recipients!
