[2010] Beta Summon Team Sign-Ups!

Sign Up to join the DOINK! Beta Summon Team
In the past, Final Fantasy Exchange has been proud to offer a convenient team of betas familiar with FF fandom and fanworks to participants. We feel it's important for our participants to have beta options, to make gifts as awesome as they can possibly be, and we like being able to supply FF betas to participants who might not have a beta of their own. This year, we've changed the way the beta team works, and we think it'll be more helpful to everyone involved.
We'll be collecting a master list of volunteers who will make up the Beta Summon Team. When interested participants summon a beta, we'll contact the entire beta mailing list (minus any betas-who-are-also-participants whose gift is being discussed!) and let them know what's being asked for (media, canon(s), characters/pairing, desired level of beta, warnings/flags/DNWs). Betas can reply to the summons if they are interested, available, and a good match for what the participant is looking for. The mods will connect available betas to interested participants!
Signing up for the DOINK! Beta Summon list commits you to nothing - you choose to volunteer your time and skills as the requests come in, based on how the request fits into your schedule. There is no longer any screening process; we ask betas to judge their own level of critique and trust them to do so. We hope this new method encourages more people to offer their awesome talents to our Beta Summon Team.
We also offer something in return! When you sign up to be a DOINK! Beta Summon, we ask you for two prompts. If you reply to a Beta Summons and beta a gift for the 2010 round, we'll include your two prompts in a special section of the Moogle Fluff post, inviting the grateful FFEX community to create gifts for you in thanks. Keep in mind you have to accept at least one Beta Summons in order to be listed. (Ungifted prompts will also be included in the final Chocobo Down list for the 2010 Round!)
Anyone can be a Beta Summon - participants, non-participants, fandom friends - so please spread the word; those two reward prompts are a good incentive. If you have a beta you normally use for your work who might be interested, feel free to encourage them to sign up - they'll get two prompt requests out of it. :)
To sign up for the DOINK! Beta Summon Team, please submit your information here!
If you have any questions about the Beta Summon Team, please reply in comments or contact the mods. In a few days, we'll let you know how you can summon a DOINK! Beta if you need one!
