Chocobo Racing: THE FINAL BOSS IS NIGH
Hello, everyone! We apologize for the long silence - this time of the year is usually a busy one for the mod team, and 2012 hasn’t been helpful. When we last saw you all, the Tonberries were battling it out with the Cactuars for dominance in this year’s Chocobo Races. Team Cactuar had a hefty lead, but the Tonberries had been trying their hardest to catch up. We’d created a lot of awesome fanwork, and we’d racked up hundreds of points. So... How does the story end?
Well, that’s up to all of you, because we’ve decided it’s time for the final battle of the Chocobo Races: the Final Fantasy Kissing Battle. It’s like a final boss -- only with more kissing!
Anyone is welcome to participate in the FF Kiss Battle - you don’t have to be a DOINK participant, and you don’t have to be a Chocobo Racer. However! If you would like your fills to earn kissy points, you can sign up for a team here: DW || LJ. We’ll count anything after your signup for team points.
If you’re a Chocobo Racer: we will be giving points for fills, but not prompts. Each fill will be worth 5 points for your team.
We will be running the Kissing Battle on Dreamwidth only. There are two main reasons for this: 1) Dreamwidth’s comment limit is huge, allowing for longer kissing masterpieces; and 2) Dreamwidth still supports subject lines for comments, which are vital to a meme like the Kiss Battle. However, the Battle is open to everyone. Feel free to participate with your Dreamwidth (account creation is invite-free right now~!), your Livejournal or other OpenID account (see here if you want to set up an OpenID), or anonymously. (If you are signed up on Team Cactuar or Team Tonberry, please make sure we have the right username so that your team gets any points you earn!)
