The deadline steps forward, knife glistening in the lantern light...

The upload deadline is Saturday, May 7th, 2011, 23:00 UTC for regular participants! That's in FOUR DAYS. Commence flailing! Please remember to post your gift to the ff_exchange2011 collection so it won't be revealed ahead of time, and to put the prompt you used in the Notes field. :) If you need a posting tutorial, check ours out here, and remember that we have our handy upload tool available if you need file hosting!

All pinch hits assigned at this point should have received their revised upload deadline in their e-mail when we replied. Pinch-hitters, please check your deadlines in your assignment e-mail, as they will be different than the May 7th deadline.

Any recipient without a gift after the regular deadline passes will have all their prompts sent to the pinch hit list. Please remember that there are no extensions -- but if you don't think you'll make it please let us know! If you don't contact us and have submitted no gift, then you will receive a ban. If you contact us, you will only have a small penalty =)

Good luck, everyone!

Quick question; is it possible to edit a submission between posting it & the reveal? I ask because my fic is very long and while I'm not worried about finishing it on time, I am worried about having enough time to do a proper line-edit before the deadline.

Absolutely you can edit after you post it -- it's hidden from everyone else when entered into the collection, but not from you. :) You have complete control over your work at all times, you can upload it and preview how it will look and do your edit right there on the archive if you want, with the preview function. Just don't forget to include it in the collection so no one sees it but you. :)
