The opening paragraph is SO CREEPY.

And then your story gets SO GOOD.

I can totally get behind the idea of Terra being coy and coltish as a teenager, which would only make sense, given how damaged she is. I also like how you characterize Terra as extremely dangerous, and Celes being fully aware of the danger. If the "Will you be my knight" line is lovely and warm, the last line, "let's trust my armor won't melt so easily," is chilling.
